I was incredibly proud of the Amazing Kapa Haka and Filipino Groups who performed EXCEPTIONALLY at the Horncastle Arena. All our hard work practising definitely payed off as the students delivered perfection.

Parihaka: Visiting the Jail House

We have been learning about the Story of Parihaka and understanding the power of peaceful actions. It was so interesting to visit the Jail house in Addington where Maori people from Taranaki were sent.

Delcia has settled in beautifully at Sacred Heart. Room 7 has made her feel very welcome and we are loving the bright and bubbly personality she brings to the class!

More Swimming

Room 7 are loving the water safety lessons at Pioneer! The students got to put on life jackets, go in a boat, learnt how to make a huddle and used the ropes to rescue each other.

Year 8 Cantamath Team

CONGRATULATIONS to the year 8 Cantamath team who gave it their all at the mathematical competition! The team answered 5 super challenging questions and worked well as a team. Good Job Jessa Del, Bradley, Bridget and Finn! 🏆
